Dealership Accountant
Location: Hull, Scarborough, and York
Salary: Up to £60,000 basic per annum, OTE up to £80,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dealership Accountant to join our client, covering multiple sites across Hull, Scarborough, and York. This is a senior and influential position, working closely with senior management to ensure accurate financial control and strategic decision‑making across the business. The role would suit an established Dealership Accountant looking for a long‑term, stable opportunity within a well‑structured automotive group. You will play a key part in overseeing the accounts function, producing management information, and supporting operational performance. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a trusted leadership role within a successful and forward‑thinking dealership network.

Dealership Accountant Responsibilities:
•    Oversee the financial/accounts department
•    Manage staff and work closely with senior management to ensure accurate completion of accounts
•    Prepare management accounts and forecasts
•    Produce monthly reports and budgets
•    Lead and support the accounts team

Key Requirements:
•    Previous experience as a Dealership Accountant within the motor trade
•    Professional qualifications such as CIMA or AAT are advantageous but not essential; a strong understanding of the motor trade is required
•    Full UK driving licence
