We are looking for an accomplished Head of Business to take overall responsibility for our client’s dealership based in Epsom. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially focused automotive professional who can drive performance across the business, lead from the front, and ensure the dealership delivers outstanding results in both customer service and profitability. The successful candidate will bring strong franchise experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to develop high-performing teams across every department.

Head of Business Responsibilities
• Provide clear leadership across the dealership, setting the direction for sales, aftersales, and support functions in line with wider business and manufacturer expectations
• Take ownership of the site’s financial performance, including budgets, profit and loss, cost control, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue and margin
• Drive strong results across new and used vehicle sales as well as aftersales, using performance data and market awareness to support ongoing growth
• Promote a customer-focused culture throughout the dealership, ensuring service standards remain high and customer satisfaction measures continue to improve
• Oversee the daily running of the operation, maintaining efficient processes, strong controls, and full adherence to franchise and business standards
• Support, coach, and develop departmental leaders and wider teams, creating an accountable and motivated working environment
Head of Business Requirements
• Strong senior leadership experience within automotive retail, ideally in a Head of Business, General Manager, or similar dealership leadership position
• A proven track record of delivering commercial success, improving operational performance, and achieving financial targets within a franchised environment
• Confident people leader with the ability to inspire teams, develop managers, and create a culture focused on accountability and progression
• Strong understanding of customer experience standards and the importance of protecting brand reputation across all touchpoints
• Commercially aware and analytically minded, with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insight into action
