Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced SMART Repair Technician, SMART Repairer or Automotive Paint Repair Technician to join a busy bodyshop in Bristol. Applicants must have previous experience carrying out SMART repairs, including minor paintwork and cosmetic vehicle repairs, with the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality repair standards.

Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 Basic + Bonus
OTE: £33,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Overtime: Weekend overtime available

• Carry out SMART repairs on vehicles, including minor dents, scratches and cosmetic damage.
• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling and masking.
• Complete minor paint repairs, colour matching and blending.
• Repair bumper scuffs, chips and other minor bodywork damage.
• Ensure all repairs meet high-quality bodyshop standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

• Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, SMART Repairer or Automotive Paint Repair Technician.
• Strong knowledge of minor paintwork and cosmetic vehicle repairs.
• Experience with surface preparation, paint application and finishing.
• Ability to complete repairs independently to a high standard.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
