Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Bristol. Applicants must have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, possess a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Bristol
Salary: £29,000 Basic + Uncapped Productivity Bonus
OTE: Uncapped – productivity bonuses typically range from £200 to £900+ per month
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm on rotation
Saturdays: 1 in 4, 8:00am–12:00pm, paid as overtime

Vehicle Technician Role
•    Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles.
•    Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
•    Complete vehicle health checks and safety inspections.
•    Identify additional repair requirements and report findings accurately.
•    Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
•    Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.
•    Work efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets.

Vehicle Technician Requirements
•    Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician.
•    Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
•    Strong mechanical servicing, maintenance and repair skills.
•    Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
•    Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
•    Full UK Driving Licence.
•    Right to work in the UK.
