As a Vehicle Technician at Northgate Vehicle Hire in Egham, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a large, diverse fleet that powers mobility across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and vans, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and compliant with all safety standards.
  • Carry out servicing, mechanical repairs, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance.
  • Support the smooth operation of the workshop to keep the rental fleet available for customers.
  • Work safely and uphold high standards across all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement and keep your skills sharp through internal, IMI-accredited training programmes.

Who you are:

  • Must-Have: Level 2 qualified Vehicle Technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience, or fully qualified Level 3 Technician/Mechanic.
  • Strong practical skills in servicing, repairs, and diagnostics across a broad range of vehicles.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • A team player with a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Additional technical certifications or training in braking systems, electrics, or tail lifts.
  • A current driving license (to be confirmed based on specific fleet needs).
