HGV Technician – Nottingham

As an HGV Technician, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs, ensuring our fleet remains safe, efficient, and reliable. Reporting directly to the After Sales Manager, you'll work on both trucks and vans, utilizing your proven technical knowledge and troubleshooting expertise on modern commercial vehicles. Your enthusiasm, hardworking nature, and self-motivation will be a perfect fit for our rotating shift system, which supports both your work-life balance and career development.

Required Skills:

• Qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ Level 3, or BTEC in Vehicle Repair or equivalent
• Proven experience working in a commercial vehicle workshop for trucks & vans
• Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems
• Enthusiastic, diligent, and self-driven

Nice to Have Skills:

• IRTEC certification
• C + E (Class 1) driving license

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Relevant vocational qualifications plus hands-on experience in commercial vehicle repair
• Previous work in a main dealer or similar environment

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work a rotation of early and late shifts
• Willingness to participate in overtime and on-call duties as required
