Service Advisor - Abingdon
Job Description
We are recruiting for a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor to join a busy franchised dealership in Abingdon. Applicants should have previous retail, administration, reception or automotive customer service experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Previous Parts Advisor experience within a franchised dealership or motor factor is advantageous.Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £32,000 basic + uncapped bonus
OTE: £38,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Service Advisor Role
- Handle customer enquiries by telephone and face to face
- Support customers with bookings, invoicing and payments
- Liaise with customers, Service Advisors and the workshop
- Order and issue parts required for workshop jobs
- Receive parts deliveries and assist with stock checks
- Pre-pick parts for vehicles booked into the workshop
- Ensure pricing and vehicle health check information is updated within required timescales
Service Advisor Requirements
- Previous retail, administration, reception or automotive customer service experience
- Previous Parts Advisor experience within a franchised dealership or motor factor is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
