Parts Assistant - Sutton Coldfield
Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Parts Assistant, Junior Parts Advisor or Parts Administrator to join a busy parts department in Minworth. Applicants must have previous parts experience within a mechanical environment such as the motor trade, plant, heavy machinery or material handling industry, and have the right to work in the UK.Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: Up to £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Parts Assistant Role
- Assist with ordering parts and processing parts requests
- Complete parts administration, paperwork and system updates
- Log parts activity accurately
- Pick, receive and handle parts when required
- Support the Parts Supervisor with day-to-day department operations
- Work with the wider team to ensure an efficient flow of parts
Parts Assistant Requirements
- Previous parts experience within a mechanical environment is essential
- Experience within automotive, motor trade, plant, heavy machinery, material handling or a similar industry will be considered
- Good administration and organisational skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and completing paperwork
- Able to pick and handle parts when required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
This position is not suitable for applicants without previous mechanical parts experience.
