Location: Bury St. Edmunds Pay / salary: up to £42,500 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £45,000 per annum Job type: Permanent / full-time role Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (including a 1-hour lunch break)

Skills and experience
• Prior experience as a Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor, within dealership or independent bodyshop environments
• Accredited in Audatex and ideally ATA-qualified
• Strong working knowledge of Audatex, Escribe and PAS 10125 (essential)
Job Responsibilities for the Panel Technician role
• Inspect a wide range of damaged vehicles and produce accurate estimates of repair time and cost, adhering to factory specifications
• Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair approval based on your assessments
• Work with bodyshop technicians and panel beaters to ensure repair methods match the estimate’s scope
• Identify and report vehicle damage, missing parts, and condition issues both before and after repair
• Produce compliant and precise estimates using Audatex, maintaining safety, quality, and record keeping standards
