Vehicle Technician
Job Description
Our client are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their business in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician or EV Trained Technician, to join their brand new dealership with a state-of-the-art workshop.They are ideally looking for an EV qualified Technician, or someone who holds an MOT licence and is interested in developing their skills within EV.

What were looking for
- Must have a valid level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance& Repair
- Hold a valid MOT licence - ideal
- Hold a level 4 electric qualification, or be main dealer accreditation in EV – Ideal
- Take great care and pride in your work giving no return visits for customers
- Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
- Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Electric/Hybris vehicles
About the role of Vehicle Technician:
- Completing MOT’s on customers vehicles (if you have an MOT licence)
- Completing major and minor repairs
- Fault finding and fault diagnosis of cars
- Using diagnostic tools to find faults and repair as necessary
- Replacing parts and completing work where required
- Working with other centre areas (Service, Parts, etc) and keeping all informed
- Meeting or exceeding efficiency and productivity targets
- Conducting road tests with customers
- Light and full-service work
