Job Description

Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years’ experience, for the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Location: Bury St. Edmunds
Pay / salary: up to £34,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE 
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Skills and experience
•    Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent; alternatively, Level 2 Technician/Mechanic qualification with at least 3 years’ experience 
•    Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties

Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role
•    Carrying out routine servicing, vehicle health checks, and maintenance across all makes and models
•    Fitting brakes, exhausts, batteries, clutches, cam belts, and suspension components
•    Utilising the latest specialized diagnostic technology to identify, test, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults
•    Executing light-to-major mechanical repairs required for vehicles to pass official DVSA MOT tests
