Location: Dunstable
Salary: £33,000 basic per annum, plus bonus, OTE £40,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday only – no weekends

Octane Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded main dealer in Dunstable for an experienced Service Supervisor to join their successful aftersales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Service Advisor or existing Service Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career with a business that offers a great working environment, strong earning potential, and genuine career progression – all with the benefit of a Monday to Friday schedule and no weekend working.

The Role
As Service Supervisor, you will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service while helping to drive team performance and departmental efficiency.
Service Supervisor Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising and supporting a team of Service Advisors.
  • Assisting with the daily operation of the service department.
  • Ensuring customers receive an outstanding level of service throughout their journey.
  • Managing workshop loading and ensuring smooth workflow between departments.
  • Handling customer queries and resolving escalated issues.
  • Monitoring KPIs, productivity and service performance.
  • Supporting the Service Manager with coaching, development and training of staff.
  • Maintaining manufacturer and company standards at all times.
Service Supervisor Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Service Supervisor, Senior Service Advisor or Service Advisor within a franchised dealership.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced automotive aftersales environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
