We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager for our clients Lambeth Workshop, you’ll play a vital leadership role in ensuring our fleet operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standards.

This role suits a Workshop Manager seeking a long term position.

Workshop Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing workshop team
  • Drive operational performance across KPIs including VOR reduction, MOT compliance, and fleet availability
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and legislative compliance are maintained
  • Manage workshop budgets and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Build strong working relationships with operational teams, internal customers, and external suppliers
  • Implement and improve workshop processes to maximise productivity and service reliability
  • Promote a positive, accountable, and engaged workshop culture
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across fleet maintenance operations
Workshop Manager Requirments:
  • Proven experience managing fleet maintenance operations or vehicle workshops
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent understanding of workshop compliance, health & safety, and operational standards
  • Experience managing large or complex vehicle fleets
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
