Inbound Leader – Vehicle Check‑In & InspectionLocation: Rugby
Salary: up to £40,000 DOE basic per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, occasional Saturday as overtime

We are seeking a highly organised Inbound Leader to oversee the vehicle check‑in and inspection process for all incoming cars delivered via transporters and auction suppliers. This role is ideal for someone with strong automotive knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and experience supervising operational or workshop‑related teams.
About the Role
• Lead the inbound team responsible for booking in all arriving vehicles
• Oversee initial inspections for damage, missing items, and condition discrepancies
• Ensure accurate documentation for auction purchases and supplier deliveries
• Raise claims for vehicles that are not as described or arrive with faults
• Liaise with technicians for deeper mechanical assessments when required
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation, and workflow efficiency
• Report daily inbound activity to management
• Support continuous improvement of the check‑in and inspection process
What We’re Looking For
• Strong automotive knowledge (mechanical understanding preferred)
• Experience in workshop control, inspection, or vehicle operations
• Confident leading a small team and coordinating workloads
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to spot damage, defects, and inconsistencies
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment
Salary & Benefits
