Location: Edgware
Length: 6-8 Weeks
Pay Rate: £360 - £480 per day
Hybrid Working
Hours: 40 per week
Our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to assist with month and year end, this will be based out of their Edgware dealership for the next 6-8 weeks, you must be a qualified accountant either through ACCA or CIMA.
Ideally our client would like someone from an Automotive background but this is not essential, You must be available immediately or have 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Role Duties:
Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, qualified Accountant to assist them for the next 6-8 weeks. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assisting with the preparation March month and ytd Holding company accounts (financial and management) in line with accounting standards, ensuring P&L and Balance Sheet are accurately reflecting the business
- Revenue and expenses are correctly reflected monthly with appropriate accruals and provisions made
- Balance sheets accounts are reconciled, and provisions are made in line with UK accounting standards and company policy monthly
- Provide supporting documentation for External/Internal audits as required.
- Assisting the Holdings Accountant with Ad hoc projects
- Preparation and consolidation of PSA submission to HMRC
- ONS Surveys - Monthly, Quarterly & Annual
- P11d preparation
- Other ad hoc reports (including headcount report)
- Working on Sage 50
- Supporting Holdings Accountant with March VAT return
Our client is a leading car automotive dealership in the UK specialising in Japanese brands, they currently employ over 500 people across 11 retail dealerships and are looking to expand even further.
Salary & Benefits:
This temporary Accountant will be paying circa £360-£480 per day via an umbrella company, dependant on experience.
