SMART Repair TechnicianLocation: Maidstone
Salary: up to £42,000 per annum OTE, including basic and bonus
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4.30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established dealership that is seeking a skilled SMART Repair Technician to join their team on a full time, on site basis in Maidstone. This role involves carrying out high quality cosmetic vehicle repairs, conducting thorough inspections, and restoring bodywork to manufacturer standards. You’ll be part of a professional and customer focused environment where accuracy, craftsmanship, and a strong eye for detail are essential. SMART Repair Technician Responsibilities
• Perform cosmetic repairs including dent removal, minor scratch repairs, panel restoration, alloy wheel refurbishment, and seat or interior plastic repair
• Prepare surfaces: masking, sanding, priming, and blending panels before paint
• Mix and match paints accurately; apply paint to match manufacturer standards
• Polish and finish surfaces to a high-quality standard
• Refurbish interior plastics and upholstery, including seat repairs and leather reconditioning
• Ensure vehicles are safe and ready for customer return
SMART Repair Technician Requirements
• Must have experience within a similar role or have a background as a Paint Technician and experience of all the duties above
• Must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and bring a strong work ethic.
• A full UK driving licence
