Mobile Vehicle Technician
Location: Hoddesdon
Salary: £46,740 per annum (OTE) — including a basic salary of £40,800 plus £2,400 bonus, overtime opportunities, and performance incentives
 
About the Role
Are you a skilled vehicle technician looking for a dynamic, mobile-based role with excellent work-life balance? Join us as a Mobile Vehicle Technician and play a vital part in keeping our customers on the move. You'll operate mainly within standard office hours, with a manageable commitment to Saturday mornings, and enjoy the flexibility to map out your day once on the road.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer vehicles at their locations
• Drive and operate a fully equipped, industry-leading company support vehicle
• Use pre-planned, booked appointments (at least 5 days in advance), with flexibility to manage your daily schedule
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of vehicle issues, including electics, brakes, and hybrid/EV systems
• Support and collaborate with our nationwide network of workshops for complex repairs
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used
• Ensure a high standard of customer service, providing a positive experience at every appointment

 
Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and pride in delivering outstanding customer service
• Flexibility to work during scheduled hours and voluntary overtime (paid at time and a half)
