About the Role

As the Aftersales Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional service quality, and efficient workshop performance. You will inspire and develop the Service and Workshop teams to meet and exceed departmental goals, all while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Service and Workshop teams to achieve set targets.
• Maximise workshop productivity, profitability, and overall performance.
• Monitor workflow, job allocation, and workshop efficiency to ensure timely completion of work.
• Handle customer enquiries related to servicing, repairs, warranties, and MOTs, ensuring excellent customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, customer retention, and departmental profitability.
• Provide hands-on support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Previous management experience within the Motor Trade.
• Strong understanding of automotive aftersales, service, and workshop operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve department performance.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on productivity and profitability.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Additional certifications or qualifications related to automotive management.
