Job Description

My client is looking for an experience HR Advisor, ideally with experience in the Automotive industry, looking for a new challenge on a temporary cover bases for 1 year  
HR Advisor – Manchester – 1-year Fixed Term Contract
Salary – Up to £40,000 Basic DOE & Qualifications
Days – Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.45pm, Friday - 8.30am - 3.30pm

HR Advisor Role:
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters
  • Advise managers on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation.
  • Support managers with investigations, formal meetings and employee relations documentation.
  • Manage long-term and short-term absence cases, including return-to-work processes and occupational health referrals.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and employee retention activity.
  • Advise on organisational changes, including restructures, consultations and changes to employment terms where required.
HR Advisor Requirements:
  • Must have at least 1+ years experience as HR Advisor
  • Ideally you will have experience in the automotive industry at an independent garage or a main dealer, but this isn’t essential
  • You will be covering the North & Central Manchester region, so will need to be based in this area
