Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm.

Vehicle Technician – The Role

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy aftersales team.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing customer vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology.
  • Complete servicing work in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
  • Complete authorised repair work to a high standard.
  • Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure faults have been fully rectified.
  • Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

About You

To be successful in this Vehicle Technician position, you'll have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
  • Previous motor trade experience within a dealership or independent garage.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
  • A desire to continue learning and developing your technical knowledge.

Previous experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, or EV vehicles would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training and accreditation support will be provided.
