Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

Join a Leading Material Handling Business Impact Handling is looking for an organised and proactive Service Controller to join our clients busy team in Melksham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong scheduling and customer service experience to play a key role in supporting a field service operation.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you’ll be responsible for coordinating engineers, planning workloads, booking repairs, and ensuring excellent service delivery for our customers.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a:

• Service Controller
• Service Advisor
• Workshop Controller
• Engineer Scheduler
• Fleet or Maintenance Coordinator

• Plan and schedule engineers’ daily workloads and diaries
• Coordinate breakdowns, servicing, and repair appointments
• Liaise with customers regarding service updates and bookings
• Ensure engineers are fully utilised and workloads are managed efficiently
• Support the service department with administration and job coordination
• Raise job cards and manage service documentation
• Work closely with engineers and management to maintain service standards
• Prioritise urgent repairs and respond effectively to changing demands

• Previous experience in service coordination or engineer planning
• Experience working in a dealership, automotive, engineering, fleet, plant, or forklift environment
• Strong diary management and scheduling skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Good administrative and IT skills
• The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively
• A calm and organised approach in a fast-paced environment
