Full-time | 45 hours per week, Mon to Fri from 8am to 5.30pm, 1 in 3 Sat from 8.30am to 1pm (paid as overtime)

At Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Cheltenham, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified PDI Technician to join our high‑performing aftersales team. You’ll be working in our modern 1‑year‑old workshop, featuring 16 bays plus a dedicated Hunter wheel alignment ramp, and supported by a team of 11 experienced JLR Technicians with 5–25 years of brand expertise. We’re a consistently strong site that regularly overperforms on targets, giving you confidence in stability and earning potential.
We’ll support your development with in‑house coaching and access to JLR’s manufacturer training pathway, enabling you to progress through Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 (Master Technician). You’ll also have opportunities to gain EV qualifications, from EV competency through to senior live battery repair.
In this role:
- You’ll carry out Pre Delivery Inspections on both fleet and customer vehicles
- You’ll handle vehicle maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
- You’ll ensure every vehicle that you work on is fully compliant and safe, ready for customer delivery
We're looking for:
- Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent). If you’re Level 2, we can look at opportunities for you to become Level 3 accredited
- Someone with previous experience as a Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to PDIs and basic service work, from any background.
- Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
- Someone tech-savvy and confident using iPads and digital workshop systems.
Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
