Sales Executive
Location: Grays
Salary: £18,000 basic per annum, plus commissions, OTE £55,000–£75,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, alternate Sundays with set day off in the week

A well‑established independent dealership in Grays is seeking an experienced Sales Executive who can take full ownership of the sales process and deliver consistent, high‑quality results.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing the complete customer journey—from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover. This position requires someone confident working independently, capable of structuring their own day, and committed to maintaining strong conversion rates without constant supervision.

Sales Executive Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full sales cycle with professionalism and autonomy
  • Handling customer enquiries, appointments, test drives, and handovers
  • Presenting and explaining finance options confidently and compliantly
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth customer experience
  • Working effectively within a dealership stocking 50–200 used vehicles

Sales Executive Requirements
  • Solid background in the used car industry
  • Proven experience running the entire sales process independently
  • Strong understanding of vehicle finance and FCA‑aligned practices
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment is essential
